Striation is another stretch mark cream that hit the market with very high claims in getting rid of stretch marks. Its name was derived from the scientific name of “stretch marks” – striae. But this does not mean that it is an effective stretch mark treatment.

This cream was formulated with a patented formula called SNaP which can help exfoliate the skin using Alpha Hydroxy Acid. They claim that the process of exfoliation and chemical peel of the skin can erase stretch marks and help restore damaged skin cells. Another ingredient that is included in this product is Elastone which they claim to be very effective in reducing stretch marks and in increase collagen production to improve skin’s elasticity.

The ingredients include; Elastatone™, Shea Butter, Açaí, Green and White Tea extracts, Aloe Vera Extract Sweet Almond Oil and Vitamin E.

It contains ingredients that can also be found in other stretch mark cream such as Shea butter, aloe extract and vitamin E. But for Elastatone, we cannot say that this can really contribute to any stretch mark treatment. We still need to find out what it this ingredient does into the skin. Açaí, Green and White Tea extracts are more effective when taken orally but we don’t know how effective it is when only applied on the surface of the skin.

It claims that it is made from a most advanced Japanese technology. And because it is made from a world known brand, it costs more expensive compared to other stretch mark treatment.

Rilastil stretch mark cream claims to be effective in increasing the elasticity of the skin. It can also help promote the production of elastin and collagen within the layers of the skin. According to my friend who has tried this cream, he told me that her skin feels soft and moisturized. But one negative thing about this cream is its cost. It cost $98. Very expensive compared to our best product.

- Contains good quality ingredients that are known to be for their elasticity and moisturizing effect.
- According to my friend, it can be a good cream in preventing the appearance of stretch marks.
- Safe to use during pregnancy.
